G-Free Bbq Hamburger with Caramelized Onions

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • Udi's Hamburger Buns - gluten free
  • Sweet Baby Ray's Bbq Sauce - gluten free
  • Swizz Cheese, thin sliced
  • Hellmann's Mayonnaise - gluten free
  • McCormick Garlic Salt - gluten free
  • salt and black pepper
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • olive oil
Instructions
  1. Divide the ground beef into 6 to make 6 patties. Brush patties with olive oil on both sides and season with garlic salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Add butter and sliced onions. Saute onions until caramelized about 10 to 15 minutes then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Grill patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Top with swizz cheese and cook until melted.
  4. Lightly toast the buns then spread thin layer of mayo. Top with the burger, caramelized onions and bbq sauce. Serve
