Ingredients
  • 4 pounds chicken legs
  • 2 cups Krusteaz Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick paprika - gluten free
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick garlic powder - gluten free
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • oil for frying
Instructions
  1. In a deep fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, thyme, paprika, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Pat dry chicken legs with paper towels.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk and lemon juice. Dip chicken legs in the flour mixture shake off excess then dip in the egg mixture then to the flour mixture.
  4. Fry chicken legs few pieces at a time about 10 minutes or until golden brown and chicken juices run clear. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. Serve
