Gluten Free Flank Steaks with Tomato Salsa

Ingredients
  • flank steak
  • ⅓ cup Tamari Soy Sauce - gluten free
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced; divided
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey gluten free
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ⅓ cup fresh cilatnro, chopped
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
Instructions
  1. Combine soy sauce, half of the lime juice, honey, ¼ cup olive oil, ginger and garlic in a small bowl. Pat the steak dry with paper towels and place in a large reseable bag then add the soy sauce mixture. Make sure to incorporate the ingredients and refrigerate overnight.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, cilantro, green onions, the remaining lime juice, jalapeno, a splash of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Remove steak from marinade. Let it drip to remove excess sauce.
  4. Preheat a large cast iron pan or any non stick pan to medium high heat. You can also grill. Add the vegetable oil and cook the steak about 6 to 7 minutes per side. Transfer it to a cutting board and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice against the grain and serve with the salsa. Yum!

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • slices of cheddar cheese
  • McCormick garlic powder - gluten free
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • Udi's Gluten Free Buns
  • lettuce
  • SALSA
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • ½ small red onion, diced
  • ½ lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 (if you want smaller burger divide into 5 or 6) season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drizzle some olive oil.
  3. Grill the patties about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Top with slices of cheese and let it melt.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine all the salsa ingredients. Toss lightly to incorporate.
  5. Toast the buns, top with, fresh lettuce, the grilled burger and salsa. Serve

Ingredients
  • 1 to 2 pounds flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 3 dries red chili peppers, chopped
  • 5 tablespoons Tamari Soy Sauce - gluten free
  • 5 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup Clabber Girl Cornstarch - gluten free
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 5 green onions, sliced
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoon Wok Mei Oyster Sauce - gluten free
  • cooking oil
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold water and cornstarch then add the eggs. Add the beef and toss to cover.
  2. Pour cooking oil into a deep fryer and heat on medium high heat. When it's hot fry the beef few pieces at a time about 2 to 3 minutes and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Continue until all the beef are done.
  3. In another medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, and chili peppers.
  4. Heat wok on high heat, add some cooking oil the the garlic and ginger. Saute until fragrant then add the carrots and half of the green onions and cook for few minutes. Pour the sauce mixture and simmer briefly then add the crispy beef. Mix the stir fry together. Garnish with green onions. Serve

  • 2 pounds steak, cut into thin slices
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 5 green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • ⅓ cup water
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Clabber Girl Cornstarch - gluten free
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Tamari Soy Sauce - gluten free
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Season beef with salt and pepper then sprinkle the cornstarch, sesame oli and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Gently massage the meat with the seasoning and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil on a large pan. Add the bell peppers, garlic, onions, and ginger. Saute for 3 minutes and transfer to a plate.
  3. Add another 2 tablespoons on olive oil on the pan and sauté the beef for about 5 minutes then add the peppers back to the pan. Add water if it looks dry. Stir for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle sesame seeds. Serve over rice. Yum!

  • 4 pounds Beef Chuck Short Ribs
  • Sweet Baby Rays Bbq Sauce (this is gluten free)
  • salt and pepper
  • ⅓ cup sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees f.
  2. Season ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Add about half of a bottle bbq sauce over ribs and toss well to coat all pieces.
  4. Arrange the ribs in a 13 by 9 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and roast until cooked, about 3 hours.
  6. Remove the foil to brown the top for another 15 to 30 minutes.
  7. You can add more sauce if you want.
  8. You can also remove the extra juice and broil for few minutes if you want.
  9. Top with green onions.
