Gluten Free Onion Rings with Barbecue & Habanero Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced into ¼ inch thick
  • canola oil for frying
  • 1½ cup Bob's Red Mill Multipurpose Flour - gluten free
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue Sauce - gluten free
  • 3 tablespoonsRobert Roths Child Habanero Sauce - gluten free
  • 1 teaspoon Clabbergirl Baking Powder - gluten free
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cup Ener-G Breadcrumbs - gluten free
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Dip the onion rings and place them on a large plate.
  3. Add the eggs, milk into the flour mixture and stir until smooth. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate.
  4. Dip the onion rings one by one into the flour mixture. Let it drip and place into the breadcrumbs. Covering all the onion rings. Fry 2 to 3 minutes until crispy. Place the cooked onions rings on a plate lined with paper towels. Continue frying the onion rings.
  5. Heat the barbecue sauce and habanero sauce on low heat. Serve
