Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook the bacon and cut into small pieces. Heat a large cast iron pan or non stick pan to medium high heat. Add olive oil then sear the chicken skin down for about 5 minutes, flip to brown the other side. Transfer the chicken to a plate. Add garlic to the pan and a splash of the stock. Scrape the bottom of the pan using a wooden spatula. Add the remaining stock and half of the bacon. Add the chicken back to the pan and arrange the lemon slices between the chicken thighs.. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. When the chicken is cooked, remove chicken from skillet to a plate. You can remove and discard the lemon slices if you want or you can keep it for lemony taste. Add the cream to the skillet. Stir to mix scarping the bottom of the pan. Bring it to a boil then return the chicken to reheat. Top chicken with bacon and green onions. Serve
