Gluten Free Crispy Ginger Beef

Ingredients
- 1 to 2 pounds flank steak, sliced thinly
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- 3 dries red chili peppers, chopped
- 5 tablespoons Tamari Soy Sauce - gluten free
- 5 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup Clabber Girl Cornstarch - gluten free
- 2 eggs beaten
- ¼ cup cold water
- 5 green onions, sliced
- 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoon Wok Mei Oyster Sauce - gluten free
- cooking oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold water and cornstarch then add the eggs. Add the beef and toss to cover.
- Pour cooking oil into a deep fryer and heat on medium high heat. When it's hot fry the beef few pieces at a time about 2 to 3 minutes and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Continue until all the beef are done.
- In another medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, and chili peppers.
- Heat wok on high heat, add some cooking oil the the garlic and ginger. Saute until fragrant then add the carrots and half of the green onions and cook for few minutes. Pour the sauce mixture and simmer briefly then add the crispy beef. Mix the stir fry together. Garnish with green onions. Serve
