Gluten Free Philly Burger

Ingredients
  • Udi's Gluten Free Classic Hamburger Buns, lightly toasted
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut in halves, stem removed and seeded
  • pickled hot peppers
  • slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 pounds ground beef, divided
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced into rings
  • Kraft Real Mayonnaise - naturally gluten free
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. and roast bell peppers on baking sheet with parchment paper for 25 minutes or until the skin become wrinkled. Let it cool, then peel off the skin and set aside.
  2. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  3. Season the beef with salt and pepper then drizzle a little olive oil. Form 4 patties and set aside.
  4. Preheat a cast iron pan to medium heat. Saute onions with butter for about 12 minutes until lightly brown. Set aside.
  5. Grill the patties 3 to 4 minutes per side according to your preference. Place 1 or 2 slices of provolone cheese on each patties. Let it melt for a couple minutes. You can toast the buns if you want to.
  6. Arrange the burgers according to your liking with the roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions and pickled hot peppers. Yum!
