Spaghetti with Beef and Tomato Sauce G-Free

Ingredients
- 1 package Barilla Spaghetti - Gluten Free
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 (28-ounce) can Hunts Diced Tomatoes - gluten free
- ⅔ cup Swanson Vegetable Stock - gluten free
- 2 tablespoons Hunts Tomato Paste - gluten free
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- fresh basil leaves
- salt and pepper
- parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add the onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Cover and cook on low for 5 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, stock, red bell pepper, tomato paste, oregano and rosemary. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Brown the beef in another pan then drain. Set aside. Meanwhile cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
- Add the beef with the sauce mixture and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Divide the spaghetti among 4 plates. Spoon the sauce over the pasta and garnish with fresh basil and parmesan cheese. Serve
