Gluten Free Pan Roasted Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 4 pork chops any cut
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick Paprika (this is gluten free)
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick Garlic Powder (gluten free)
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick Onion Powder (gluten free)
  • 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 small head green cabbage
  • cauliflower
  • 1 cup diced bacon
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
Instructions
  1. Season the pork with salt and pepper Mix the cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder and the garlic powder in a small bowl. Season the pork with the mixture, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  3. In a cast iron pan heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sear the pork chops about 3 minutes on each side. Transfer the pan in the oven and roast for 10 minutes or until the temperature is 150 degrees F.
  4. Heat another skillet over medium high heat. Add the bacon and cook until rendered. Add the shallots and sautƩ for few minutes. Add the cabbage and cauliflower and stirfry for few minutes.
  5. Serve with the pork chops.
