Gluten Free Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Ingredients
  • Dough Recipe
  • 3¾ cups Bob's Red Mill All Purpose Flour Gluten Free
  • 5 eggs
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ā…“ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sauce Recipe
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 can (28 oz.) Hunts Tomato Sauce (gluten free)
  • 1 can 14.5 oz. Hunts Diced Basil, Garlic and Oregano (gluten free)
  • 1 can 6 oz. Hunts Tomato Paste (gluten free)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • black pepper
Instructions
  1. For the dough:
  2. On a large cutting board, mound the flour and make a well in the middle. Add eggs, olive oil, water and salt. Beat the eggs and slowly incorporate the flour mixture. Make a ball and start kneading until the dough is smooth about 15 minutes. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let stand for 1 hour in a room temperature.
  3. Use a pasta maker to make spaghetti noodles.
  4. When ready to cook. Boil water on a large pot. Add oil, then add the noodles and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Sauce
  6. Brown the meat and drain.
  7. On a large pot, heat olive oil then add onion and garlic. Saute until translucent. Add the meat and all the tomato sauces. Stir until blended. Add the basil, salt and season with black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
